ST. LOUIS - Freshman Elle Christie has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week, the Valley announced Tuesday afternoon. She is the first-ever Sycamore diver to receive the honor.
"It's exciting for the diving program to be recognized at this point," Head Coach Josh Christensen said. "We have three freshman divers that have jumped right in and done a great job. Coach Chen is a fantastic coach and they're working hard every day. They practice at the same time we do so we get to see that hard work.
