ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Sophomore goalkeeper Delaney Timmons has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after posting back-to-back shutouts in matches against Green Bay and Lindenwood.
Timmons was a steady presence on the net throughout the week, totaling 10 saves across 180 minutes of action. She opened the road trip with a season-high six saves in Indiana State's 2-0 win at Green Bay, turning away multiple scoring chances to preserve the clean sheet. She followed up that performance with four saves in the Sycamores' 0-0 draw at home against Lindenwood, recording her second consecutive shutout and third result of the season.
