ST. LOUIS – Sycamore Football placed two student-athletes on the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Newcomer Team, the League announced Tuesday. The All-Newcomer teams are voted on by MVFC coaches, sports information directors and members of the media.
Both Sycamore honorees proved to be impact players during their final season of collegiate football as graduate transfers. On the heels of a Second Team All-MVFC honor Monday, Dominique Dafney earned All-Newcomer honors on the offensive side of the ball while shutdown cornerback Keawvis Cummings earned All-Newcomer defensive accolades.
