ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Indiana State senior Brooklyn Woods has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week following her standout performance in the Sycamores' 1-0 home win against Illinois State.
Woods played the full 90 minutes for both of this week's matches against SIU and Illinois State and delivered the goal that gave the Sycamores the win on Sunday, converting a penalty kick during the second half. The Waukee, Iowa native's finish marked her fourth goal of the season, continuing her consistent production in the attacking third.
Through 16 matches this fall, Woods has started 15 of them and logged 1340 minutes, ranking among the team leaders in both playing time and offensive output.
