ST. LOUIS -- Indiana State senior guard Brenton Scott has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Player Of The Week following his efforts in the 90-69 win over Indiana on Friday, November 10 inside Assembly Hall. This is the first weekly honor given out by the league office this season.
Scott led all scorers with 24 points as he hit 9-of-14 shots from the field, including 6-of-9 from 3-point range to go with three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 28 minutes of action. His six 3-pointers tied a career-high and were a key part of the Sycamores' setting a new Assembly Hall record for most trifectas by a visiting team with 17.
