TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Head Coach Mitch Hannahs announced Wednesday that Brad Vanderglas has been elevated to Assistant Coach.
Vanderglas joined the Sycamore baseball staff in 2017 as a volunteer assistant. Over his three years as a volunteer assistant Vanderglas worked primarily with outfielders and catchers while also organizing camps, creating practice schedules and scouting opponents. He also coordinated travel that included hotels, buses and meals.
Vanderglas played a key role in the 2019 campaign in which the Sycamores finished the season 43-18, including a 15-2 mark at home en route to the programs 10th NCAA Regional appearance after claiming the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Championship.
