TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's basketball's Jayci Allen was named this week's Hannig Construction Indiana State Student-Athlete of the Week as announced by the athletic department on Monday afternoon.
Allen scored in double-figures for the fifth time this season in Indiana State's 102-50 win over Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, finishing with a game-high 17 points. The Richmond, Ind. native also added season highs of four rebounds, four assists and three steals in the victory over the Pomeroys, while shooting an efficient 7-for-14 from the field.
The redshirt junior did most of her damage in the second half with 12 of her 17 points coming in the last 20 minutes of the game, and she had the highest plus-minus of any Sycamore at plus-40.
