ST. LOUIS – Indiana State Football had 29 student-athletes named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll for the 2015-16 season, the Valley announced Monday. Of those 29, there were 15 Sycamores who also earned the Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award.
To be named to the MVFC Honor Roll, student-athletes must have recorded a 3.0 GPA during the Fall 2015 semester while also being a member of the football team with a minimum of 12 credit hours during the season. Meanwhile, the Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award requires a minimum 3.2 GPA over the previous two semesters (freshmen are not eligible).
