ST. LOUIS – The Indiana State track & field teams have had 15 student-athletes named to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete team for the shortened 2020 season, the Valley announced Tuesday morning.
This year the Missouri Valley Conference recognized 131 athletes named to the 2020 Track & Field Scholar-Athlete team for their performance in the classroom and in the sport of Track & Field. 43 student-athletes hold at least a 3.80 cumulative grade-point average and 12 on the list maintain a perfect 4.0.
The Missouri Valley Conference modified their awards criteria to be considered for the 2020 T&F Scholar-Athlete Team due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of the MVC Outdoor T&F Championship.
