Teague Finds Comfort, Finds the Range

It hasn't been easy being (Jeff) Teague. The Indianapolis native admits now that the pressures and distractions that go with playing professional basketball in your hometown have been an issue in his uncharacteristic start to the season.

That's what made his performance in Wednesday's overtime victory over Philadelphia doubly meaningful. He not only finished with season highs of 30 points and nine assists and committed just one turnover, he appeared to shake off a burden as well.

"You could tell he had a different look tonight to start the game off," said Paul George, who finished with 28 points.
