Report: Pacers move Kelly Krauskopf into role as NBA’s first female assistant GM

A Woj Bomb involving the Pacers is always entertaining, let alone on a Monday morning. But this time, the breaking news had historical significance for the NBA team.

According to Woj, the Pacers moved Kelly Krauskopf into a role as an assistant General Manager making her the NBA’s first female hired in that front office role.

Krauskopf will work alongside president Kevin Pritchard, GM Chad Buchanan and Sr. VP Peter Dinwiddie to help guide basketball operations for the Pacers.

Krauskopf has done impressive work as a long-time exec with Pacers Sports and Entertainment, mostly in the role as president and GM for the WNBA’s Indiana Fever.
