The Indiana Pacers took a flier on James Wiseman last summer and even re-signed him earlier this offseason, even though he is coming off an Achilles injury. They are clearly big fans of his, and with Myles Turner no longer on the roster, they may give Wiseman a grand opportunity to shed his bust label and potentially become their next center of the future.
As it stands, it seems that Indiana will run a center-by-committee with Isaiah Jackson leading the way. There is a lot to like about Jackson. However, he does not have as much upside as Wiseman, who looked great during his limited run with the team last year.
