The Pacers chased from behind for much of Game 2 but were unable to truly threaten the Heat for the win, eventually falling, 109-100.
After falling behind 12-3 to start the game, the Pacers rallied with a strong defensive effort to take a 17-16 lead later in the first quarter which appeared to set up another grinder against the Heat.
Throughout the remainder of the first quarter and the first few minutes of the second quarter, the Pacers had ample opportunity to take control of the game. But not cashing in on several defensive stops kept the game tight as the Heat used some sizzling three-point shooting to initially stay with the Pacers and then pull away.
