It's too early to say the Indiana Pacers made a mistake landing Kam Jones with the 38th pick of the 2025 NBA Draft. But at the very least, they probably at least slightly regret not drafting Maxime Raynaud, who is breaking out with the Sacramento Kings.
The Kings drafted the French native with the 42nd pick in the draft, and he's been playing incredible basketball recently.
In the month of December, Raynaud has averaged 15.8 points, 9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while shooting 57.3% from the field and 45.5% from deep. There isn't a lot going well for the Kings, who are 8-24 and own the second-worst record in the West.
