The Indiana Pacers lost their summer league game against the Chicago Bulls on Monday, but in many ways, they got the last laugh. Second-year forward Johnny Furphy pulled off an incredible fastbreak poster dunk in the second quarter of the game, and this moment immediately began making headlines on social media.
While the dunk was impressive on its own, it is getting a bit of extra attention because of another viral still image that does not paint Bulls rookie forward Noa Essengue in a great light.
In the loss, Furphy recorded 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting, six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks.
