NBA Draft: Pacers draft Joseph Young in second round

With their second round pick, the Indiana Pacers drafted Oregon senior Joseph Young, giving the team a potential scoring threat. The 6'2" guard was named the 2015 Pac-12 Player of the Year, guiding the Ducks to the NCAA Tournament and scoring 27 points in their opening win against Oklahoma State and 30 in their loss to Wisconsin in the round of 32.

Young is one of the best pure scorers in the draft according to Chad Ford, averaging 20.7 points per game in his senior season. Celtics reporter Marc D'Amico offered up an extensive scouting report on Young, comparing him favorably to Isaiah Thomas in regards to his offensive abilities.
