The Indiana Pacers went into the 2017-18 season with relatively low expectations. Most people pegged them as a 30-ish win team and thought that the season would be the first of a rebuilding process.
That was not the case.
Thanks to hard work from everyone: the players, the coaches, and the front office, the organization saw the team go out and win 48 games and nearly upset LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs.
Pacers head coach Nate McMillan has received a magnitude of praise for his work at the helm of the team last season, and rightfully so.
