Myles Turner Underwent Successful Surgery, Out 6 Weeks

The Indiana Pacers announced today that Myles Turner underwent successful surgery to repair a chip fracture in his left thumb. According to Pacers.com the surgery was performed at OrthoIndy Hospital by hand surgeon Dr. Tim Dicke.

The injury was sustained during the first half against the Boston Celtics last Wednesday and was expected to miss at least 4 weeks. That now is looking like it could be at least 6 weeks according to the Indy Star’s Candace Buckner.

When Myles Turner went into surgery today, a torn ligament was found which prolonged the original timeline from 4 to 6 weeks.
