Last year on the PAC-12 Network O’Neill expressed skepticism whether the 6’2″ Joe Young would play in the NBA. Turns out he was wrong as not only was Young drafted last year, he’s been looking better and better with each game in the NBA.
While the Pacers were in San Francisco this week Young stopped by the network’s studios and talked with Mike Yam, Don MacLean and O’Neill about his success so far in the NBA.
O’Neill and Young enjoyed a laugh as the analyst gladly accepted being incorrect. Young said he’s been working on adding strength and muscle to his body to keep up in the NBA to make up for his lack of size.
