Going into the summer, it was hard to predict what direction the Indiana Pacers would end up taking. With many key players entering free agency and a healthy amount of cap space to spend, the conditions were right for the team to get its most substantial overhaul in years.
Essentially, that’s what ended up happening. Every free agent that played a large role on the team in 2018-2019 departed (or retired/got banned from the league), and a slew of new faces were brought to Indy to try to restructure the team for sustained success moving forward.
