Lavoy Allen? Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. After having his team optioned declined by the Indiana Pacers last summer, Allen didn’t find his way on to an NBA roster last season.
He reportedly signed in China last season, but it never materialized and he didn’t end up playing a professional basketball game for a while. Then, in February, he joined the G League, signing with the Suns’ affiliate team, the Northern Arizona Suns. In 10 games with the minor league Suns, Allen posted averages of nine points and 6.
