Ellis Talking a Good Game, Ready for Action

It was the last fullcourt scrimmage of Monday's practice at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the starters in blue and the reserves in white. Monta Ellis, the 10-year veteran, was sitting this one out, but only in the physical sense.

He talked trash to Paul George, who had been told to switch over to the White team to make things more even, he shouted encouragement to the Blue players, and when it was over and the players gathered for the session-ending midcourt huddle, he had words for everybody.

"Good job, Blue!" he said, slapping hands all around. "Way to go!
