Bill Simmons says the quiet part out loud about the Pacers' should-be plans

How the Indiana Pacers will perform next season without Tyrese Haliburton or Myles Turner remains to be seen, but according to The Ringer's Bill Simmons, they may be better off tanking and not prioritizing wins.

"But if you compare [Boston] to Indiana, who lost Haliburton and Turner, I actually think Indiana is a more likely '(expletive) it,' let's suck this year' candidate, right?" Simmons said. "Jarace Walker will play. He'll fill minutes somewhere, because they didn't have him in the playoffs, but other than that, what else do they do?"

The Pacers were just one win away from an NBA championship back in June, but things quickly fell apart for them, and they now have a bleak outlook for next season.
