Can you believe Wesley Matthews has already been a member of the Indiana Pacers for 10 games? In my head, it feels like he just got here.
Matthews chose Indiana over (allegedly) a bevy of suitors. He mostly chose to come here for playing time, but familiarity with Head Coach Nate McMillan and the front office certainly helped. They all believed he could be a contributor in the starting 5.
They were clearly right. Matthews has helped this team by adding a spacing dimension they were lacking all season long from the shooting guard position, and one they have needed badly in the absence of Victor Oladipo.
