Class of 2016 guard Rawle Alkins, formerly of Christ the King in New York, continues to climb the national rankings with his strong play this summer.
The most recent example of his dominance this summer was his performance at last week’s adidas Gauntlet Finale in Atlanta when he led the NY Rens past the Atlanta Celtics, 80-66, to win the event’s gold bracket title.
The 6-foot-5 guard scored 34 points, including 5-of-11 shooting from behind the 3-point line, in the championship game.
Alkins remains open recruiting wise – he told ESPN.com this week in New York that he doesn’t have a school list – but Indiana continues to track him diligently this summer.
