BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University water polo's Mary Askew, Tina Doherty and Izzy Mandema all earned Honorable-Mention All-America honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) on Thursday. The three ACWPC All-America accolades in one season are a program record.
Askew had a great season in goal for IU, appearing in 25 games and seeing 646:32 minutes of action. Th Fremont, Calif. product totaled 208 saves, while posting a goals-against average of 12.32. She also had eight goals, six assists and a team-best 44 steals on the season.
