Teri Moren notched her fourth overall gold medal in FIBA competition, this time serving as head coach for Team USA’s U19 team, which won Gold Sunday in the Czech Republic.
Moren had previously served as an assistant for USA Basketball, appearing in both the U18 and U19 from 2022-2024, during which she was part of three Gold Medal staffs. Sunday’s win was her first Gold as head coach.
Indiana transfer commitment Zania Socka-Nguemen was on the roster for Team USA, making a brief appearance in Sunday’s game and averaging 3.1 points plus 3.0 rebounds per contest across the tournament.
