BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics honored its student-athletes at the 10th annual Spirit of Indiana Showcase on Monday, April 27. The recognition happened online through Facebook live.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Spirit of Indiana Director's Award, given by Vice President and Director of Athletics Fred Glass to two student-athletes that best represent The Spirit of Indiana: 24 Sports, 1 Team.
"With so much of our effort and energy focused on responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in recent weeks, the Spirit of Indiana Showcase is a wonderful and refreshing opportunity to applaud the tremendous accomplishments and sacrifices our students have made during the last year," said IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass.
