Source: Kevin Wilson to be named offensive coodinator at Ohio State

There will be a familiar face on the opposing sideline when Indiana kicks off the 2017 football season on next fall. A source close to the situation tells Crimson Quarry that Kevin Wilson will be named offensive coordinator at Ohio State — and an announcement could come as early as today.

He’ll replace Tim Beck on Urban Meyer’s staff, who’s departing to take the same position under Tom Herman at Texas. It’s unknown if Wilson will be the lone offensive coordinator for the Buckeyes, or if Ed Warriner will retain the co-Offensive coordinator title.

Wilson resigned from his position at Indiana following the 2016 season amidst player mistreatment allegations, though Fred Glass only cited “philosophical differences” in the reason for the departure.
