Ray Looze to be Inducted into ASCA Hall of Fame

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) announced Indiana head swimming coach Ray Looze will be inducted in the ASCA Hall of Fame in 2021. He joins a class including longtime UCLA Women's Head Coach Cyndi Gallagher and highly accomplished club and college Coach Charlie Kennedy.

During his 18-run as the head coach at Indiana University, Looze has helped the Hoosiers garner 720 All-America honors, 22 NCAA champions, 18 top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships, nine Big Ten Championships, 10 Olympic swimmers, and seven Olympic swimming medals. Looze has achieved his mission to return Indiana swimming to the elite level it had maintained throughout the 1960s and 70s.
