BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Fifteen former Indiana men's soccer student-athletes are gearing up for the 2022 Major League Soccer season, set to kick off Saturday, February 26.
The list of former Hoosiers in MLS includes 11 players, two head coaches and two members of front office staff.
Members of Indiana's 2021 team are set to make their introduction to MLS. Goalkeeper Roman Celentano and forward Victor Bezerra will play their first professional seasons in the nation's top domestic league. Celentano was selected No. 2 overall by FC Cincinnati in the MLS SuperDraft, while Bezerra signed a homegrown contract with Chicago Fire FC.
