Bloomington, Indiana – Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie will be a familiar face at IU Athletics events throughout the 2019-20 season.
That's because IU's president recently announced his plans to attend at least one home event of each of IU's 24 varsity sports during IU's Bicentennial year. His tour began Sunday, when he and First Lady Laurie Burns McRobbie were on hand for IU Field Hockey's match-up against Ohio State at the IU Field Hockey Complex.
The McRobbies have been regular attendees and supporters at Hoosier sporting events since he was introduced as IU's 18th president in 2007.
