Starting pitcher Cole Gilley was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 10th round (311rd pick) of the 2025 MLB Draft.
Gilley started his career at Indiana State for his first four years of college baseball. He missed the entire 2022 season at Indiana State after undergoing Tommy John Surgery and spent his fifth and final season of college baseball this spring at Indiana. He went 10-3 and was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association Second Team All-Midwest Region.
“I had talked to them before, and to me, it didn’t really matter who,” Gilley said.
