SETTING THE SCENE
• After nine-straight games on the road to begin the season, Indiana will open the home slate of the 2020 campaign on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match-up with Purdue at Bart Kaufman Stadium.
• This past weekend, the Hoosiers earned two wins at the Keith LeClair Classic, beating No. 17 East Carolina and High Point.
• Jeff Mercer enters his second season at the helm of the Indiana baseball program after leading the Hoosiers to a Big Ten regular season title in 2019, earning him Big Ten Coach of the Year honors.
