Indiana University is in its 122nd season of competition in men's basketball and will play in the 2022 Big Ten Tournament semifinal against No. 5 seed Iowa. The Hoosiers are making their fifth semifinal appearance in the event, the first since 2013, and hope to advance to advance to the championship game for the first time since 2001. IU has won two tournament games in a single year for the first time since 2003. Iowa won the only meeting between the two teams, 83-74, on Jan. 13 in Iowa City. The Hoosiers defeated eighth seeded Michigan, 74-69, and top seeded Illinois, 65-63, to advance to Saturday.
