COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The No. 8 Indiana men's soccer team (14-2-3, 7-1-0 Big Ten) defeated the No. 22 Maryland Terrapins (11-6-2, 3-3-2 Big Ten), 1-0, in double overtime of the semifinals of the 2019 Big Ten Conference Tournament at Ludwig Field on Friday night. Sophomore Jack Maher's penalty kick in the 103rd minute was the difference in the contest.
KEY MOMENTS
• The Hoosiers earned the first corner kick of the match in the sixth minute. Freshman Joshua Penn was able to fire off a shot but it was blocked by a Maryland defender.
