No. 24 Spartans Get Past Hoosiers On Monday Night

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Indiana had three players in double figures but couldn't overcome No. 24 Michigan State, 77-61, on Monday night at Breslin Center.

  • Freshman guard Grace Berger had six points at the media timeout in the first quarter with IU (17-8, 6-7 B1G) leading 10-7, but in what would be a game of runs, the Spartans would go on a 7-0 run with 1:49 to play. Berger would hit a jumper with just over a minute and a half to play as Indiana wouldn't score for the rest of the quarter with MSU (17-6, 7-5 B1G) going up 18-14.
