No. 23 Indiana Wins a Wild One at Rutgers in 11 Innings, 5-3

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The No. 23-ranked Indiana University baseball team won a dramatic, back-and-forth contest at Rutgers, 5-3, on Saturday afternoon in Piscataway, N.J.

With the victory, the Hoosiers improve to 22-9 on the season overall and in Big Ten conference play. The Scarlet Knights fall to 17-15 on the year and in league action.

KEY MOMENTS
• Through the first six innings of Saturday's game, RHP McCade Brown was perfect. He retired the first 18 batters he faced in order, racking up 11 strikeouts.
• With both pitchers dealing, Indiana collected the team's first two hits of the game in the top of the seventh inning, as INF Paul Toetz and OF Grant Richardson both singled.
