The Indiana Hoosiers defeated the Indiana State Sycamores on Friday at Memorial Stadium on Merchant Field in a blowout victory of 73-0. This was the most statistically one-sided game in the history of the in-state rivalry as the Hoosiers now lead the series 8-0 in the series all-time.
The single-game scoring record scoring record was 77 set by the Indiana Hoosiers last season against Western Illinois but their 73-point margin of victory tonight ranks as the second-largest home win in program history.
Indiana had 680 yards of total offense, led by Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
