The NCAA Division I Council is changing the transfer window for men’s and women’s basketball and football.
According to the NCAA’s PR account on X (formerly Twitter), the following changes are being made:
Men’s and women’s basketball will have a portal window of 45 days. The window was previously 60 days.
The window in football will be 45 days with 30 days after the season and 15 days in the spring.
Previously, the window for football was 45 days after the season and 15 days in the spring.
The changes are expected to be finalized later today when the council’s meeting concludes.
