Minnesota transfer Pharrel Payne will visit Indiana later this week, according to Darren Wolfson of KSTP in Minneapolis.
Payne, a 6-foot-9, 255-pound big man, averaged 10 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.4 blocked shots and 1.2 assists last season for the Golden Gophers.
A native of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Payne was the No. 123 ranked player out of high school, according to the 247Composite.
He shot 60.5 percent on 2s this past season overall and 59.7 percent on 2s in conference play.
According to Wolfson, Louisville, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas and Texas A&M are all in the mix for Payne.
