On Monday Major League Soccer announced its Team of the Week and Hoosier fans may recognize one of the members. Former IU and current Minnesota United FC forward Mason Toye received the honor of being included in the team for the first time in his young career.
Against San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday the 20-year-old got on the score sheet by assisting on a Kevin Molino goal. On Saturday he had what is probably his finest game as a professional thus far. Against Montreal Impact he scored a brace, leading the Loons to a 3-2 victory.
