BLOOMINGTON, Ind.- Indiana Field Hockey senior Mary Kate Kesler was named the IU Scholar-Athlete of the Month for September.
Kesler has played in 51 games in her IU career while receiving numerous academic awards. She was named Academic All-Big Ten in the 2020-2021 season while maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA as a full-time student athlete.
While pursuing a major in International Studies with minors in Spanish and Urban Planning and Community Development, Kesler was awarded the Scholastic Achievement Award for the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA on a team.
She also earned the Alpha Beta Honorary award for finishing both the fall and spring semesters with at least a 3.
