The Indiana Hoosiers come in at No. 2 for the second week in a row in the College Football Playoff rankings, this ranking coming after a close call against Penn State. The Hoosiers just about dropped a game against a 3-5, now 3-6 Penn State team, and if they did, the committee probably would not have been very forgiving.
Many top teams that lost this week dropped in the rankings, including BYU, which dropped from No. 7 to No. 12 and is now no longer in the field to make the CFP. Indiana had an amazing comeback win, capped off with one of the greatest catches in college football history, and the selection committee rewarded them for that.
