Kopp among Big Ten players on NBA Draft early entrant list

Before he dons an Indiana uniform for the first time, Northwestern transfer Miller Kopp will seek feedback on his game from decision makers at basketball’s highest level.

Kopp is one of 296 college players who have filed as early entry candidates for the 2021 NBA Draft, a process that allows prospects to receive direct input from NBA scouts and executives. It’s likely that Kopp, who has two seasons of eligibility remaining, will withdraw his name from the pool of draftable players before the July 7 deadline to retain eligibility.

In Bloomington, Kopp is poised to occupy a meaningful role during new coach Mike Woodson’s first season.
