On Tuesday, two Indiana Hoosiers players Mikail Kamara and Aiden Fisher were featured on the Lombardi Award Watchlist, the organization announced. The award is presented annually to the nation's top down lineman or linebacker.
The award is not only about play on the field, although that plays a key role in the selection process. In addition to outstanding performance and ability, the winner best exemplifies the character and discipline of NFL Hall of Famer Vince Lombardi.
Team captains, Aiden Fisher and Mikail Kamara are also included on watch lists for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Chuck Bednarik Award, Lott IMPACT Trophy and Shrine Bowl 1000.
