Indiana’s roster saw another shakeup on Thursday morning with news that redshirt sophomore wing Jerome Hunter will not return to the basketball program for the 2020-21 season.
Hunter is transferring after three years in Bloomington, only two of which were spent on the floor. The Pickerington, Ohio native was forced to take a medical redshirt as a true freshman after undergoing surgery to address a lingering injury in his leg. Hunter worked his way back and gradually climbed into a reserve role for the Hoosiers, appearing in 55 games over the past two seasons, including starts in each of the final four games of the 2020-21 campaign.
