IU's Gutjahr Signs Homegrown Contract with Chicago Fire

CHICAGO – The Chicago Fire Club announced on Tuesday that they have signed Indiana University men's soccer's Jeremiah Gutjahr to a Homegrown Player contract.

Gutjahr wrapped up his four-year career with the Hoosiers with a great season, helping Indiana reach the NCAA College Cup for the second-straight season and win both the Big Ten regular season and tournament championships.

"Jeremiah epitomizes the word professional in his daily preparation, academic work and training habits," Indiana head men's soccer coach Todd Yeagley remarked. "He wore the IU jersey with pride over the past four years, helping to build upon our tradition of excellence at Indiana University.
