After playing his freshman season at Division III Wabash College, former Bloomington South star Johnny Jager will be joining the Indiana basketball team as a walk-on. Jager made the announcement on Instagram:
In his only season at Wabash, the 6-foot guard was second on the team in scoring with 15 points per game on 40/36/74 shooting splits. Jager also contributed 5.5 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game, and received All-North Coast Athletic Conference Honorable Mention honors for his play.
While talented, it will be difficult for Jager to get much (if any) playing time in a backcourt that already includes James Blackmon Jr.
