IU women’s assistant Constantine leaving program

Indiana coach Teri Moren will have a staff opening to fill this summer.

Assistant Janese Constantine announced Monday that she is leaving IU to follow her husband, Paul, to Alabama. Paul Constantine previously worked on Indiana’s football strength and conditioning staff before taking a job at the University of Alabama in March.

Janese Constantine spent four seasons at IU, joining Moren’s coaching wing in 2016 after a two-season stint at IUPUI. The job brought her back to the Big Ten, where she was a three-time all-conference selection as a player at Wisconsin.

With the Hoosiers, Constantine helped Indiana continue its run of five consecutive 20-win seasons.
